Job overview:
We are seeking a suitable candidate to manage the construction/site-related activities on our current projects. The role involves managing a number of small to mid-sized short projects. You will be working from the main office and going to site as required. You should be able to start within the next 4 weeks.
Key points:
- Valid driver’s license an advantage
- Must have previous experience working in Qatar
- Must have experience in managing critical projects
- Must be proficient in the use of Auto CAD
- Experience with Microsoft project or similar planning software an advantage
- Researching the type of work, we do and having an understanding of it before a potential interview is an advantage
Duties and responsibilities:
- Plan the daily, weekly and monthly site-related activities
- Manage a team of foremen, supervisors and engineers on a daily basis
- Ensure project cost and progress reports are submitted by your team for management review as required
- Ensure that materials requests are placed in a timely manner
- Ensure that manpower assigned to each job is working productively at all times
- Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure safety compliance at all times
- Ensure that all company resources are being used productively at all times
